Choices

The true story of a family fleeing communist Hungary to find a new“home” in a “free” country. This book captures both the struggles and the “choices’ they must make along the way. It is also the story of a young 16 year girl who invites these strangers / immigrants into her home when they find themselves homeless. Yes-one person can make a difference – even a young person. This is also a post holocaust story, as both parents were survivors.

Please note: We will make sure these books are also in the selection for our receiving organizations. The donations will be a combination of the 4 books depending on the needs and wishes of the specific agency. The dollar amount and the number of books donated remain the same and of course it is all a 100% tax deductible donation.

A book is a gift that keeps on giving every time a child reads it. With our Sponsor Holiday Program, “Sponsoring a Storybook,” you can give 4 special books to each child on meaningful topics:

“Where Did Papa Go?” is about a special relationship and grieving for a loved one who dies, exploring emotions that a young child may experience after the loss of a loved one.

“Last Night I Had a Laughmare” is the story of a topsy-turvy world which will make bedtime a magical time for children as they take a romp through “Gigglyville.” It turns nightmares into laughmares!

I wrote both of these books as a way to help children ease into sleep each night and deal with the difficult and confusing topic of death.
